The Surveillance Operator at Treasure Island Resort & Casino is responsible for identifying thefts and other issues that threaten organizational resources as well as the safety of guests and team members. The operator will monitor all facilities within the resort, including gaming areas and back of house operations, to detect and video record illegal or unusual activities such as cheating, theft, embezzlement, or any other suspicious activities. The role involves overseeing and verifying large payouts by the casino, such as jackpots and bingo payouts, and following established procedures to notify the Surveillance Director or law enforcement authorities upon detection of suspicious activities. Additionally, the operator will create detailed reports and maintain a daily log of activities observed or reported to Surveillance, ensuring effective communication with public service officials and representatives from other departments.

  • Monitor all facilities within Treasure Island Resort & Casino for illegal or unusual activities.
  • Monitor gaming-related areas including Table Games, Slots, and Cash Services for potential cheating and illegal activity.
  • Oversee and verify large payouts by the Casino such as jackpots and bingo payouts.
  • Follow established procedures and notify the Surveillance Director or law enforcement upon detection of suspicious activities.
  • Create detailed and accurate reports and maintain a daily log of activities observed or reported to Surveillance.
  • Ensure effective and professional interface with public service officials and representatives from other departments.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • One (1) year surveillance related experience or related schooling or military experience
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other gaming or surveillance related software
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Above average math skills
  • Proven accurate typing skills
  • High level organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure.
  • 2 year degree in related field
  • Prior investigation experience
