Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/incidents on company property Operates all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to, monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras as assigned. Learns all games in use and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games. Understands and ensures compliance with all company/department policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations. Writes proper reports as needed in a timely manner. Reviews and responds to all surveillance and gaming control request. Interprets and reviews all other departments request when necessary. Remains current with all activities that threaten the security of the property. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and team members may also be asked to perform other reasonable related duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to observe and identify suspected cheaters and cheating techniques; must have 20/20 corrected vision.
  • Understanding of property and department policies and procedures.
  • Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements.
  • Other duties, as needed.
  • High school diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of America money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Penn National Gaming’s auto insurance carrier.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces. Team Members must be drug free.
