About The Position

Observe operation areas in the Choctaw Nation through surveillance equipment to identify risks and ensure the highest level of security.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• General computer/keyboarding skills
• Ability to work with minimum direction and communicate quickly and effectively both orally and in writing
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and multitasking ability
• Remain current on and has comprehensive knowledge of surveillance and Choctaw Nation Policy and Procedures
• 2 years directly related experience

Responsibilities

• Observe operation areas in the Choctaw Nation Headquarters using digital video surveillance (CCTV) equipment.
• Conduct routine observations focused on funds-handling operational areas to determine if breaches have occurred.
• Perform video reviews to determine breaks in policy and/or procedure along with documenting any found irregularities or deviations of established processes.
• Document suspicious activity and other reports.
• Review video as and provide incident documentation as needed.
• Provide data and evidence to assist with internal investigations relating to sensitive security issues.
• Ensure videos are properly referenced and archived.
• Record video incidents to CD's/DVD's and prepare incident documentation as needed for distribution to various approved Choctaw Nation Departments.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
