The Surveillance Operator is responsible for maintaining close surveillance of all gaming and cash-handling areas. Essential Duties Monitor activities of guests and employees on the casino floor, cage, change booths and count rooms via closed-circuit television (CCTV) system and personal observation, for criminal activities and/or violations of regulations, policies and procedures, or internal controls. Utilize necessary equipment to identify record and document illegal and/or unusual activities occurring in areas under surveillance and reports same to appropriate personnel. Video tape questionable activities and make written reports to appropriate personnel. Monitor alarm system. Review tapes associated with jackpots. Maintain strict confidentiality of all property related issues. Operate monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions. Participate in court actions relating to gaming violations. Attend periodic meetings and training sessions. Protect the assets of the company. Provide outstanding customer and employee service at all times. Perform other duties as assigned.
