About The Position

The Surveillance Observer is responsible for surveillance of the casino including operating and maintaining CCTV systems, monitoring for deviations from Tribal-State Compact regulations and department procedure manuals, observing for any criminal activity and safety hazards in and around the casino property, and maintaining video files. Cooperates with Security and department heads to ensure property assets are protected at all times, completes accurate and timely reports on all incidents while supporting the casinos goal of providing superior guest service. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Must have one year of Floor Supervisory experience
  • Must have dealt three major table games (Blackjack, Craps & Roulette)
  • Must be able to understand implications of Tribal-State Compact
  • Must be able to maintain high levels of concentration
  • Must have good written and verbal reporting abilities
  • Must have the desire to be a team player for the protection of property assets
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Must have good manual and hand dexterity
  • Must have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
  • Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
  • Our facilities operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This position may require evening, weekend, and holiday availability as business needs dictate.
  • All applicants must obtain and maintain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions; marijuana use will not disqualify an applicant unless the role requires operating a company vehicle.
