The Manager of the Surveillance Department is responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the surveillance department. This position oversees surveillance operations for assigned shifts, ensuring proper surveillance and timely investigations of questionable and/or illegal activity on the casino's property. The role includes monitoring the quality of supplier products, coordinating work order requests, and performing software programming related to the surveillance monitoring system. The Manager also supervises the Technical Supervisor and serves as Project Manager for casino remodeling projects requiring surveillance, while maintaining communication with departmental staff, other casino departments, and law enforcement.
