About The Position

The Surveillance Investigations Manager at Veracity Research Co LLC is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of surveillance investigations, managing a team of investigators, and ensuring high-quality customer service. This role involves direct interaction with clients, training staff, and conducting fieldwork as necessary to combat insurance fraud effectively. The position can be based in the corporate office or remotely, with travel required to various locations for management and investigative purposes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years management experience
  • Surveillance manager experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, Business, or related investigative field
  • Core designations such as FCLS, FCLA, CFE, CIFI are a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Insurance knowledge base is required
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A customer service focus
  • Possess a valid driver's license and provide Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • A Private Investigator license is mandatory in some states
  • Must pass a drug test and pre-employment testing

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in insurance fraud investigations
  • Leadership experience in a similar field

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations and provide instruction to surveillance investigators
  • Track and report investigation statistics
  • Gather material and evidence for use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations
  • Provide leadership and supervision to investigative staff, including discipline, performance management, hiring, and terminations
  • Conduct field work as needed
  • Provide quality customer service through daily contact with clients
  • Develop briefs from reports and communicate with designated clients daily
  • Prepare briefs for assigned Point of Contact (POC) daily
  • Review billing of investigative efforts
  • Review investigator final reports
  • Ensure investigations are completed within budget
  • Project staffing needs
