About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer! In this role, your sharp eye and strong observation skills will be crucial as you monitor a series of screens to capture every detail. As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will be responsible for spotting threats before they escalate in various environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. You must be able to pass a Physical Fitness Test! Availability for all shifts is required, as shifts may vary. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $23/hour, with DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees. Requirements

  • Pass a Physical Agility Test consisting of pushups, sit-ups, and chin-ups.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), or college degree.
  • Pass an extensive screening process.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in a fast-paced, high-end HOA.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods and work in various elements.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Valid PILB in hand.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Military or Law Enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist the front gate officer with visitor management and access control.
  • Patrol the property by car and foot in a safe manner.
  • Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
  • Be flexible to work at any site, any time, any shift, and any location as needed.
  • Provide rapid response in critical situations, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Document and report any unusual activities or incidents to site management and appropriate authorities.
  • Communicate with the Homeowners Association regarding emergencies or safety concerns.
  • Keep accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information.
  • Read and write detailed reports.
  • Learn the client's procedures, regulations, and standards to enforce them.
  • Use modern technology and electronics as needed.
  • Greet residents and their guests with a friendly demeanor, verifying their identity and ensuring proper access to the community.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain all security equipment and patrol vehicle.
