The position involves providing guidance and daily supervision to staff, supporting operational goals, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, and maintaining customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of casino Surveillance experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of casino operations, games, cheating, and embezzlement scams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of video surveillance systems.
  • Advanced computer knowledge; proficient in Microsoft applications for report writing and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department.
  • Support and administer operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to Gaming regulations.
  • Support compliance to departmental budgets.
  • Promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
  • Enforce all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the Surveillance Department.
  • Partner with property departments to conduct sensitive investigations into potentially illegal activities.
  • Act as direct liaison between surveillance room activities and the Director of Surveillance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, internal control, and policies and procedures.
  • Safeguard company assets at all times.
  • Submit reports for incidents, infractions, and violations.
  • Examine and analyze physical property, processes, and procedures for compliance.
  • Conduct, supervise, and prepare reports relating to any reported incidents.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Monitor the facility using CCTV and maintain logs of events.
  • Ensure monitoring of drops, soft count, and transfers of funds/assets.
  • Conduct clandestine monitoring of gaming operations and cash handling processes.
