The Role: The Surveillance Agent is responsible for observing all customers and Team Members activities via surveillance camera system for criminal activity and/or violations of casino policies and procedures. The Surveillance Agent should be professional at all times and possess good communication skills. In addition, he/she/they must display integrity and honesty in all aspects of employment while providing “star” treatment of all guests and encourage repeat business.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of casino security preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • At least one (1) + years’ experience in surveillance and/or security field preferred.
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
  • Individual should have basic computer and keyboarding skills and knowledge of database and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers and guests in fast-paced environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of company property
  • Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions
  • Participates in court actions relating to gaming violations
  • Learns and uses two card count system
  • Learns all games in use and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games
  • Writes proper reports as needed in a timely manner
  • Responds to surveillance supervision and gaming control requests
  • Responds to requests of all other departments when necessary
  • May be required to perform duties outside of normal job description where in the Company’s judgment it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved customer service.
