About The Position

The Surveillance Agent at Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is responsible for monitoring the casino environment using CCTV and video management software to ensure the safety of guests and team members, as well as the protection of company assets. This role requires strong computer literacy and mathematical skills, and involves working closely with law enforcement to address suspicious activities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED is required; some college preferred.
• Excellent math skills are required.
• Desire to learn about games and casino rules, procedures, and administration.
• Ability to identify cheating methods and other irregular activities.
• Must be able to pass written and/or oral tests on gaming operations after training periods.
• Ability to work as a team and get along with co-workers.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

• Broad knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures, and administration.
• Desire to learn camera equipment and methods of operation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CCTV and video management software to conduct safety, casino, and security audits.
• Maintain surveillance on designated areas and activities.
• Record irregular activity as required.
• Operate all surveillance equipment, including DVRs, monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
• Provide CCTV and personal observations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Present oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourage others to do the same.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
