Requirements

  • 6 months gaming experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED and some college level courses.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of all phases of gaming operations, Casino games (Casino, Cage, Slot Operations, and Casino games), and ability to identify methods of cheating.
  • Basic knowledge of video equipment.
  • Ability to interface with all departments under surveillance, outside law enforcement agencies and Surveillance Information Network.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and customers.
  • Ability to use common sense in making decisions and determinations regarding irregular activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Courses in Protection of Casino Games / Casino Operations and Management.
  • Gaming License.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and report on all areas under surveillance to ensure compliance with the Hotel and Casino's in-house Regulation '6', Gaming Control Board Regulations, and in-house gaming policies and procedures.
  • Record and observe casino games, sports book, count rooms, slots, keno, bar areas and casino cage, cashier areas including all money transactions.
  • Know basic strategy of all games and the count(s).
  • Write all necessary incident reports.
  • Communicate with Casino, Cage, Security and Slot Management with any relative information.
  • Rotate all video tapes when necessary.
  • Perform technical maintenance, as required.
  • Present self in a professional manner possessing a team attitude at all times.
  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests, staff and co-workers.
  • Perform related work as requested.
