About The Position

This role is for someone who has been there. If you have completed at least one gestational surrogacy journey and feel drawn to educating and supporting other women who are exploring surrogacy, this role was built with you in mind. The Surrogate Community Advocate works as an independent contractor supporting Family Inceptions’ surrogate outreach and community engagement efforts. This role focuses on educating potential gestational surrogates, participating in community conversations, and supporting surrogate recruiting efforts through relationship-based outreach. This is a hybrid, flexible contractor role that combines education, community engagement, and recruiting support.

Requirements

  • Completed at least one gestational surrogacy journey (required)
  • Prior experience in recruiting, enrollment, intake, sales, or relationship-based outreach
  • Comfortable educating others and having candid, respectful conversations
  • Comfortable working across multiple digital platforms and internal systems and learning new tools as part of daily work
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage outreach activities responsibly
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical recruiting practices

Responsibilities

  • Support and help manage the surrogate community page through engagement, moderation, and response to inquiries
  • Participate in surrogate-related conversations across social media and online communities
  • Educate potential gestational surrogates using lived experience and approved program information
  • Answer common questions and clarify eligibility, expectations, and compensation structure
  • Engage in one-on-one conversations with women exploring surrogacy
  • Support recruiting efforts by guiding qualified candidates toward the application process
  • Follow up with warm leads and referrals with the goal of completed applications
  • Use a consultative, relationship-based approach
  • Document outreach activity and outcomes in designated systems
  • Coordinate with internal team members for alignment and handoffs
  • Participate in occasional local or regional events as agreed
