As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a technician who shares our passion—especially for surgery. We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician with a strong interest in surgery to join our amazing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technician who thrives in the surgical suite and takes pride in providing top-notch patient care from induction through recovery. Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technicians preferred
- Experienced veterinary technicians and soon-to-graduate students from an AVMA-accredited program are encouraged to apply
- Strong surgical and anesthesia skills
- Positive team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dependable
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with surgical and dental procedures
- Perform safe and effective anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture with confidence
- Take and process radiographs
- Perform cytology and laboratory diagnostics
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
- Educate clients on preventative care and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
