Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End Date: For the foreseeable future, commitment is based on provider availability.
Length of Assignment:
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days + emergency/temporary privileges available; IL active license required, IA in-process welcome
Work Schedule: 14–16 days/month (schedule posted 90 days in advance)
Prefer 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off
24-hour call coverage from 7pm-7pm, 7-day stints (Monday pm to Monday pm), 2 weeks per month available, extremely flexible
Provide 24-hour call coverage with a 15-minute response by phone and 60-minute response at bedside from hotel
Patient Volume: 1-2 procedures on OR days, 2-3 OR days per week
Cases/ Procedures: Perform surgical procedures with block time allocated in the OR and clinic visits.
Collaborate with a team of experienced Urologists and full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Provide continuity of care across outpatient clinics and inpatient service
Types of Cases: Bread-and-butter urology, cystoscopy, trauma consults
EMR:
License Needed: Active IL license required; IA license may be in-process
Certifications Needed: BLS, ACLS (ATLS preferred)
BC/BE Acceptable - Urology
Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: Would love 24 months of case logs
12 months is fine for credentialing.
Other additional pertinent information: Must have consistent block availability
Must be comfortable with acute inpatient urology
