About The Position
The Allied Health Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a Surgical Technology Full-Time Instructor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 3 years of precepting or teaching experience
Nice To Haves
- Strong communication, organization, and student support skills
- Experience with curriculum development, accreditation standards, or program assessment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Didactic and clinical instruction in the Surgical Technology program
- Continued growth as an instructor and surgical technologist via professional development
- Coordination and monitoring of student clinical placements at local healthcare facilities
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records according to all JCTC and ARC/STSA policies and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by Surgical Technology program coordinator and Dean of Allied Health.
