About The Position
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a leading academic health system committed to advancing care, research, and medical education in North Carolina. As part of Advocate Health, our teams deliver world-class treatments while training the next generation of healthcare professionals and we are looking for a Surgical Technologist to join our OR Team! Location: Davie Medical Center - 329 NC Highway 801 N, Bermuda Run, NC Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts per week Monday-Friday (6:30am – 5:00pm) What We Offer: Day 1 Health Coverage: Choose from either copay or HSA-eligible health insurance options with coverage starting on your first day of work. Retirement: Up to 7% employer-paid retirement contributions Education & Certification Requirements: Graduation from a Surgical Technology program Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Preferred: Certification in specialty area How You’ll Impact Patient Care: Embrace this pivotal role in patient care as you work alongside the Registered Nurse. You'll support direct patient care, prepare the Operating Room pre- and post-surgery, arrange sterile instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques.
Requirements
- Graduation from a Surgical Technology program
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

- Be fluent in systems for ensuring patient safety.
- Be comfortable with technology and informatics.
