About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Performs assigned scrub duties, assists with patient care and assures optimum quality patient care using a team approach. Performs services requiring technical and manual skills under the direction of the Circulating RN. Reports to: Director of Surgical Services FLSA: Non-exempt Grade: N05 EEO: □ 01 Officials and Managers □ 02 Professionals X 03 Technicians □ 04 Sales Workers □ 05 Administrative Support Workers □ 06 Craft Workers □ 07 Operatives □ 08 Laborers and Helpers □ 09 Service Workers JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Graduate of a Program for Surgical Technology, Licensed Practical Nurse or candidate must have had 2 years experience as a Surgical Technologist is required Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days Minimum Work Experience A minimum of one-year hospital experience as an Operating Room Technician with a service orientation and the ability to understand and react effectively to the surgical needs for all patient populations. Requirements

Graduate of a Program for Surgical Technology, Licensed Practical Nurse or candidate must have had 2 years experience as a Surgical Technologist is required
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days
A minimum of one-year hospital experience as an Operating Room Technician with a service orientation and the ability to understand and react effectively to the surgical needs for all patient populations.
