About The Position

Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for the procedures. Ensures all instruments are cleaned and sterilized and functioning properly. Assists anesthesiologist when blocks are required for surgery. Participates in department staff meetings and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• College, military or vocational training required.
• 1 to 2 years of job-related experience is preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technology recognized by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS required.
