Location: Marlton - Rt 73 and Brick Road Remote Type: On-Site Employment Type: Employee Employment Classification: Regular Time Type: Full time Work Shift: Day Shift - 12 Hr (United States of America) Total Weekly Hours: 36 Additional Locations: Job Information: Summary: Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician, the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field.

Requirements

• One year OR Training or Experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
• BLS.
• Maintenance of New Jersey State required 15 CEs per year.

Nice To Haves

• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
