About The Position

As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patient insuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospital is carried out. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
The Surgical Technologist is a recent graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist (ST) program or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program. Has less than one year of experience as an ST.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education, certification or diploma required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program required.

Requirements

• recent graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist (ST) program or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program
• less than one year of experience as an ST
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Post high school education, certification or diploma required
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program required
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire
