Surgical Technologist - 36 Hours - Day Shift
About The Position
GENERAL SUMMARY: Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Prepares surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. Hands required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Maintains instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures. Assists surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery. POSITION SUMMARY: Henry Ford Providence Hospital - Novi 7:00am - 7:30pm Day Shift Holidays and weekends required $7,500 Sign on bonus
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- OR Associate's degree/Technical degree
- OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- BLS Provider preferred
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
