This is a full-time 10-hour day shift (M-F) at Scripps Jefferson Clinic in Oceanside. Requirements

  • One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required

Nice To Haves

  • CST
  • 2+ years’ experience

Responsibilities

  • ensure operating rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
  • Monitor sterile field throughout procedure.
  • Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team.
