About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work The Surgical Technologist maintains responsibility for preparation of the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, making appropriate responses as needed. Is responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and principles related to those procedures. May serve as a Preceptor.

Requirements

• Associate's degree of Surgical Technology or the successful completion of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Required AHA OR ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days of hire
• Required Surgical Technologist Experience (Clinical rotations do count as experience)
