About The Position

Could you be our next Surgical Technician at the Paoli Surgery Center? Why work as a Surgical Technician? Make an Impact! Our Surgical Technicians play a key role in facilitating safe and successful surgeries for our patients! Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you would check and set up instruments, perform counts, and scrub in to assist the Surgeon at the table during invasive and surgical procedures. Other responsibilities may include: handling specimens, assisting with patient positioning and transfers, and participating in OR turnover. Develop and Grow your Career! Position: Surgical Technician Shift: 7:00am -3:30pm Monday - Friday, no holidays no weekends.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited course in Operating Room Technology.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required upon hire if surgical training took place on or after 12/29/2020.

Nice To Haves

• One year of Operating Room experience preferred.
• Surgical Technician Certification (CST) Preferred.
