The Surgical Tech role provides basic care for patients across the life span. Performs duties of scrub person throughout the intra-operative phase of care. Recognizes significant conditions and reactions and notifies the appropriate patient care team.

  • Recognize significant conditions and reactions and notify the appropriate patient care team.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a Surgical Tech program with the ability to sit for certification OR 2 years minimum working in a Surgical Tech role.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Surgical Technologist/Technician role if completion of a Surgical tech program has not been completed.
  • American Heart Association CPR (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Requires intra-operative orientation to learn department/unit policies, procedures and work routines.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology.
  • $18K Sign on Bonus!
  • Hourly pay for Surgical Technologist I: $27.26-38.48/hour.
  • Hourly pay for Surgical Technologist II: $27.26-38.48/hour (with a 3% range adjustment).
  • 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time available for use beginning day 1 for candidates with 5+ years of direct experience.
