The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. The Staffing Resource Office (SRO) offers 13-26-week assignments where you are assigned to one hospital in our system. Assignment placement is based on needs of the system. System Pool 13-week assignments. Seasonal assignments are offered November-March and have a mileage eligibility.

Requirements

• 1-year surgical technology experience in hospital setting with NBSTSA certification; Or - 5 years' experience if no certification.
• High School or Equivalent
• Technical Diploma or Associates in Surgical Technology
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up.
