About The Position

United Pacific Surgery Center has an opening for a part-time Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech. United Pacific Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program; certification preferable.
• 2+ years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
