About The Position

Providence Surgery and Procedure Center is seeking a motivated Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech to join our team. Providence Surgery and Procedure Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Job Summary: The Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Experience in supporting in the following specialties is a plus: Colorectal, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Urology, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Sports Medicine Monday-Friday work schedule! NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours! NO call required!

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a Surgical Tech program.
  • Must be registered in the state of Washington.
  • At least 1+ years of Surgical Tech experience.
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
  • BLS required.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to communicate with staff, patients, and physicians.
