About The Position

TRIA is looking to hire a Surgical Technologist to join our surgery center team! Position Summary: The Surgical Technologist practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating, critical thinking skills, commitment, creativity and caring.

Requirements

• Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs: CST ( https://nbstsa.org/examinations-cst.html ) or NCCT ( https://www.ncctinc.com/General/VerifyCertification.aspx ) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Currently validated CPR skills preferred
• Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
• Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
