About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons and RNs in a multi-specialty OR. Responsible for maintaining a safe, sterile environment and supporting all phases of surgical care.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Surgical Tech/OR Tech program.
• National certification (NBSTSA) within 12 months; must stay current (NCCA-recognized).
• Current BLS.

Nice To Haves

• Orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OR: instruments, equipment, sterile fields, and solutions.
• Follow strict infection control and AORN standards.
• Perform scrub duties across all specialties.
• Test/adjust equipment before procedures.
• Pass instruments and supplies; assist with retraction, sutures, and counts.
• Handle and label surgical specimens.
• Apply dressings; assist with patient positioning/transport.
• Operate sterilizers, suction, lights, and equipment.
• Prepare/label medications under surgeon/RN supervision.
• Support room turnover and restocking.
• Maintain patient privacy and safety.
• Participate in training and uphold organizational values.
