About The Position
Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking a SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST to join our team! Duties include, but are not limited to: Assists RN and physician during operative and invasive procedures Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments Ensures availability and condition of supplies. This position will work in the OR and Endoscopy. HOURS: Full Time; 0.8 FTE or 64 hours per pay period. WEEKDAY, WEEKEND, AND HOLIDAY ON CALL REQUIRED.
Requirements
- Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of healthcare/patient care experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Former operating room surgical tech experience or a graduate of a surgical tech program strongly preferred.
- BLS certification preferred.
