About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology or OR Technician program.
• National certification (NBSTSA) required within 12 months of graduation.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room, equipment, and sterile instruments.
• Adhere to infection control and AORN standards.
• Perform scrub duties and assist with all surgical specialties.
• Pass instruments, handle specimens, and maintain accurate counts.
• Support patient positioning, dressings, and OR turnover.
• Operate and maintain sterilization and surgical equipment.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and compliance with hospital protocols.
