About The Position

As a member of the healthcare team, the Surgical Technologist Level 3 collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring that patient goals are met and the hospital's mission is carried out. The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin, supporting a shared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research, and education. This health network operates eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center, engaged in thousands of clinical trials and studies. Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of Surgical experience as a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician
High School Diploma or equivalent
Post high school education, certification or diploma
Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (not required for Level 3 staff hired prior to 8/1/2020 who meet job description criteria)
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
