Surgical Technologist Lead

Summary: Member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. Acts as the shift lead to staff and assists management with daily operations of the department.
Requirements
- HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
- Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program or LPN Technical Diploma and 2 years surgical technician experience or completion of a military or hospital-based training program with 5 years acute care Surgical Tech experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment and sterile field set-up
- Broad Knowledge of specialty procedures, instrumentation and equipment.
