We are currently seeking experienced Surgical Technologists to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at HealthPark Medical Center - a premier destination for advanced cardiac surgery in Southwest Florida.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists.
• 3 years minimum experience.
• Meets all standards and competencies for Surgical Technologist II.
• Demonstrates proficiency in specialty.
• BLS required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse.
• Prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient.
• Work with Registered Nurse specialist as a clinical resource.
• Be responsible for supplies/instrumentation and education in areas of expertise.
• Perform call obligations as assigned.
