About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Surgical Technologists (Tier 2) to join our surgical services team. As a Tech 2, you will confidently handle most surgeries independently while collaborating with a highly skilled team using advanced surgical equipment. This role involves preparing surgical suites, assisting during operations, and maintaining a sterile environment for every patient.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of OR Tech experience required.
• Technical Competency: Competent to perform as first scrub in at least three of these four specialty areas: Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, and Vascular Surgery.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Certified Operating Room Technicians (CORT).
• Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• BLS: Required upon hire.
• Location Requirement: Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility for call responses.

Responsibilities

• Suite Preparation: Set up and maintain surgical suites with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment for smooth procedures.
• Intraoperative Assistance: Scrub in to assist the surgical team, handle instruments, manage specimens, and anticipate the surgeon’s needs.
• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping, prioritizing safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Vigilant Monitoring: Monitor patients and surgical equipment during procedures, responding promptly to any concerns.
• Sterile Maintenance: Uphold strict sterile techniques and ensure efficient room turnover for a high-performing team environment.
