We are searching for a talented Surgical Technologist I. $7,500 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (Rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible).

Requirements

  • Equal to completion of 4 years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training is required.
  • Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Program is required.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by a nationally recognized surgical technologist certifying body accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and recognized by the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologist within 12 months of graduation from program or within 6 months of hire if greater than 12 months from graduation.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support is required.
  • One (1) year of related work experience is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to surgical team during the intra-operative phase.
  • Ensure aseptic, safe, appropriately equipped, and functional surgical environment.
  • Responsible for OR preparation, instrument supply and assembly.
  • Maintain sterile fields and hands off instruments.
  • Initiate counts throughout procedures.
  • Perform Surgical Technologist duties including on-call duties as needed or required.
