About The Position

The Surgical Technologist position at Norman Regional Surgical Services involves assisting surgeons during operative procedures while maintaining a safe and sterile environment in the operating room. The role requires a commitment to teamwork and patient safety, with a focus on providing professional and dedicated care. New scrub techs will receive extensive orientation and training to become proficient in various surgical service lines.

Requirements

• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech.
• Must have completed accredited Surgical Technology program or five (5) consecutive years training/experience as a surgical tech or LPN with one (1) year surgical tech preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for duration of employment.
• If Certified Surgical Technologist, must have current certification.
• Currently Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• National Certification in surgical technology is highly preferred.
