About The Position

The surgical technician assists in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and center policies and procedures. The surgical technician also assists the nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care available. Main duties will be assisting with sterilization and surgical procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Operating room experience required
• Two (2) years of hospital main operating room experience desired
• Current BLS certification required
• Certification as a surgical technician preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in the organization and daily function of the operating room
• Support nurses and physicians in delivering patient care
• Assist with sterilization of surgical instruments
• Help during surgical procedures
