About The Position

The Surgical Technologist prepares, organizes, and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases and deliveries. This role involves providing assistance to the surgeon or physician and the registered nurse as directed, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile for the procedure.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (Cert, GED, Trn, Exper).
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program preferred.
• Six (6) months of surgical technologist experience preferred.
• Certification as a surgical technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Monitor the sterile environment during surgeries.
• Assist the surgeon and registered nurse as needed during surgical cases.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.

Benefits

• Estimated pay range of $26.50 - $32.46 per hour depending on experience.
