About The Position

The Surgical Technologist Department Pool is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of an RN according to accepted clinical standards of care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
• CST (Surgical Tech) certification
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

• Must have knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up as well as laser equipment use and maintenance.
