About The Position

Surgical Technologist Department: Operating Room - In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery. Location: Chelsea, MI Pay: $26.57 to 38.52 per hour based upon applicable experience + shift premiums (when working afternoons, overnights and weekends) Why Join Us? Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by demonstrating knowledge of surgical procedures and the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Shift Available: Day Shift Status Available: Part time (benefit eligible) - 40 hours per pay period – every two weeks On call required (must be within 45 minutes of the hospital when on call) About Chelsea Hospital Chelsea Hospital is a 103-bed, not-for-profit hospital established in 1970 leading the way in patient safety in satisfaction. Requirements

High school diploma AND
Graduation from a certified surgical technologist program and current Surgical Technologist Certification is required
Must be within 45 minutes of the hospital when on call
