About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support surgical teams in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the operating room, a strong understanding of sterile technique, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Surgical Technician certification or completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in an operating room setting.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hospital or surgical center environment
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Applies principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties for operative procedures.
• Prepares operating rooms by setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assists surgeons and nurses during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments.
• Maintains a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Handles, cleans, and prepares surgical instruments and equipment according to protocols.
• Assists with patient positioning and transport as needed.
• Follows all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
