Surgical Technician

About The Position
Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Reports to the Director of Women's Services/OB Scrub.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Graduate of a surgical technology program preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months prior experience in another facility.
- OR experience required
Nice To Haves
- BCLS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
- Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
- Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present.
- Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
