About The Position

Surgical Technician at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour Evening shifts. Surgical technologists work under the supervision of the surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. Ensures that the operating room environment is safe, the equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Requirements

• Coursework/Training - Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Coursework/Training - Obtains 6 CEUs per year.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
