About The Position

The role encompasses assisting with the patient care in the surgical setting through the provision of technical assistance to the surgical team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. In lieu of High school diploma or GED, completion of approved Surgical Technology course will be accepted.
• Minimum 6 month's experience in the surgical scrub role setting or completion of a course for Surgical Techology.
• Aseptic technique in the surgical setting.
• Able to work in the fast paced environment and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and other duties as assigned.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card is required.
• Must be able to perform the essential physical job requirements.
