We are the Tri-State area’s newest hospital but draw on decades of experience

The hospital serves the dynamic area surrounding Bullhead City, Arizona,
Laughlin, Nevada, and Needles, California. It is conveniently located in Ft.
Mohave, a Bullhead City suburb. In fact, the hospital is located several miles
due east of the exact spot in the Colorado River where the three states come
together!

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of a surgical technology program preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months prior experience in another facility.
• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
• Prepares the surgical suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies; ensures equipment and instruments are in good working order.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physicians during surgery and continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies.
• Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
