Surgical Technician, Endoscopy (ENDO) Unit Full-Time | 1.0 FTE| 8-hour shifts | Days w/weekend call rotation $7,500 Sign-on Bonus Available Based on meeting eligibility requirements. Requirements

• Applicants should have successfully completed a Certified Surgical Technology Program or LPN/LVN program and have a valid Michigan LPN license.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

• One year (1) year of related experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Cleans and disinfects all fiber optic endoscopes and accessory equipment. Prepare equipment for processing and sterilization as assigned.
• Cleans and prepares procedure rooms in between patients and sets up appropriate equipment for the next procedure.
• Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the lab.
• Provide support to physicians and nurses during procedures.
• Assesses equipment functioning and performance, notifies appropriate person of any defects/damage, and prepares equipment which needs to be sent out for repair.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and transfers of patients as needed.
• Actively participates and ensures room turnovers are efficient and timely.
