About The Position

St. John's Surgery Center, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. Our focus is on excellence in patient care and creating an exceptional customer/patient experience. We are always seeking great people who aren't just searching for a job but looking to make a difference. We are seeking a full-time RN for our St. John's Surgery Center at Fort Myers, FL. The RN is cross trained to be competent in all areas of the center, including pre-op, post-op, and circulator. *Overtime may be required. We are seeking a certified surgical technician to join our team and assist with surgical procedures. The successful candidate will have a great eye for detail, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited surgical technician program
• Certification as a surgical technician (CST)
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques
• Understanding of surgical procedures and protocols
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery and maintain a sterile environment
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures and anticipate their needs
• Prepare and handle surgical instruments and equipment
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery
• Manage and dispose of surgical waste and material
• Coordinate with other medical staff to ensure quality patient care
